Jill Rose grew up in central New Jersey, where her passions for storytelling and illustration shined through from the time she was a young girl. She graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2006 with a BFA in Graphic Design, and then pursued a multifaceted New York City career path in corporate event production. In 2024, Jill decided to pivot professionally, and turn her passions for writing and art into an entrepreneurial endeavor.
Jill now lives with her husband and their furry family in sunny Miami, Florida, where she enjoys hunting for exotic tropical fruit and fancy seashells. She still writes original manuscripts by hand, often while sipping decaf lattes at her favorite local coffee shoppe and she takes her notebooks on all of her travels.

Hi! My name is Jill Rose. I’m from Miami – which is also known as the Magic City! I live with my husband and our five pets: two rabbits and three cats, who sometimes make appearances in my YouTube videos.
In addition to writing and drawing, my other favorite things include: painting, reading, traveling, the beach, animals, seashells, tropical fruit, and colorful fashion (especially jewelry).
I love to take my notebook with me and write by hand, the same way I did when I was a young girl. ↑↑ Up top is a photo ↑↑ of me working on Book #2 on a New York City rooftop! Fun fact: this photo was taken in the neighborhood where I once lived – I always love to revisit. Miami may be the Magic City, but New York is the BIG APPLE!
I hope that one day, Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich balloons will float down 6th Avenue in the Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Would you like to see Peanut and Jelly as ginormous balloons? Remember, always DREAM BIG and in FULL COLOR!
